Sorry, couldnt resist myself to write down another football entry but after Man Utd demolition of West Ham and a "solid" performance by Nani... I just had to say this..
1) Ronaldo just hit 40 goals in one season : His goals in the EPL, 30 goals have helped us win games agst the bottom half and the top half excluding the top 4 la.. His goals have sealed wins agst the weaker teams in the EPL, coz they dont have the technical ability to mark him.. I have said this before, he is not yet cemented himself as a big game player. Tevez, park ji sung, hargreaves maybe have..
2) Nani did himself a favour by getting sent off for his sheer act of immaturity which hopefully rules him out of the big game agst Moscow if he gets a charge of gross misconduct levelled at him. He is what I called a really raw, raw , uncut, unpolished semi precious stone. Haha. He is at times magical but at times just frustrating. But he is young, give him time. By feigning injury for the headbutt, he has invited fans from all over the EPL to poke fun at him and I guess he should learn to accept that. Nani, you have lots to learn.
Wigan have confirmed their safety. So does that mean our final game is a walk in the park. Not really, its more like a walk in the minefield. Coz the wigan pitch is not meant for football.
Anyway, on a different topic of football. For all the players that have passion and aggression on the pitch like gerrard, anderson, vidic, rooney, tevez.. there are also players in particular, midfielders who seem football is like a walk in the park...and i definitely see myself in their shoes..They have excellent passing ability, excellent range of distribution, and they seem to take it easy at times.. stayin back and simply holding the fort. They make the ball work for them(its as simple as that) Here are a few examples..
1) Michael Carrick : What more can I say : He sits at the back and simply looks up, and there the ball goes
2) Tom Huddlestone : Another fellow that lazes around the pitch, yet he is so effective with his passing ability
3)Danny Murphy : Ex Liverpool fellow , same mould
4)The New Paul Scholes : When i say new, i mean the 33 year old paul scholes, not the one that used to suddenly pop up in the penalty box and head the ball in.
5)Xabi alonso : another one of those players...
6)Manish Nandwani : one of the upcoming stars on the spore scene scene, see him parading his passing ability at telok kurau park from time to time
All that said and done.. We shall look forwad to the game next Sunday to seal the title and then the build up to the game in moscow..
