The more serious the crime, the more you should NOT use the word "sorry"...
Let me give u all a few scenarios..
You just banged the car in front of u... what do u tell the fellow.. Sorry.. podah la.. haha.. he will say its ok and walk off... now that happens in Mars.. but not planet Earth and more specifically Spore where our social skills are comparable to that of a 5 year old... Saying sorry would be as good as starting a fight....
How bout when u accidentally reveal ur friends deep dark secret.. now sayin sorry would just destroy everything.. lets give an extreme way of how terrible the word sorry has become.. you kill your friends dog... and say sorry.. that is the ultimate la..
when do u really say sorry.. when for example.. you walk on the street.. u step on a beggar's hand.. then u say sorry... coz u know u did not meant it... u say sorry for the small crimes like unintentionally hittin someone on the head in the MRT... or farting in public...that merits a sorry...
So sorry is not abt sayin sorry but abt the action of showing that u are sorry.. remember that... u slap someone, you say sorry by slappin urself... u spill the beans abt someone, u say sorry by making it up to the person.. u cheat on ur gf... u say sorry by being honest and sincere abt ur reasons why...Sorry has to evolve... never ever use sorry just because its fashionable..
Next entry... i am gonna touch on how the pursuit of careers have destroyed all of us... we have lost our souls.. we have lost the meaning of being happy... we derive happiness from our account balance... more importantly.. the rise of global families have caused tremendous pain and suffering for all connected... cheers...
