Finally, a pause at the end of a hectic week..

Haha.. Wow.. the week flew quite quickly.. monday booked in then fri evenin booked out.. Well... its a matter of a month left to the end of my course.. to become an MP.. well. looks like my bunkmates are gettin along well with each other.. so barrin any major collapse in relations.. the next 4 weeks should be a smooth sailin one..coz if we are doin it together, the burden is shared among everyone and no one will have a larger cut of the pie..

Oh well.. this week was all abt learnin abt what is the role of Mp durin war time.. so blah blah.. PW cage, tentage, basically learnin MP ops.. so it was somethin different.. We had 2 outfields which were quite fun and it was good to see our batch laughin and havin fun.. Fri went to ulu sembawang for a navigational test.. It was a matter of gettin to our 5 checkpoints n the last end pt.. but u know what.. we were cheated... coz they gave us the wrong grid reference.. so much for efficient and effective..in the end..the warrant officer told me that as long as we had fun it was ok.. HAH.. i replied telling him that we were indeed havin fun... until tthat point when they gave us the wron checkpoint.. so thats SAF..they made it into a competition..but they forget to make sure whether its a fair one.. so life goes on.... hopefully, they can check clear their stores and whatever info before relayin on to us trainees... its just that the trainees are supposed are to make mistakes and not the instructors.. SOP style..

So.. Its abt time.. Man U playin Lpool this weekend in a battle of confidence.. which team will stand up depends on the performance of the goalie.. considerin that the previous games of between these two sides have been decided by the keeper.. so lets see what happens..

Hmmmm.. Just some food for thought..Looks may be deceivin.. but the true nature of a person is always in his actions.. be it big or small... nah.. nothing much to think abt.. only that.. i got 4 weeks left to brin an end of a long journey for my batch. the socalled "special batch.."... Lets see...........................

Sunday is here again.......

Just arrived back from live firing....... Things to do.. Alot to talk abt.. not that much though..This week that went past seemed quick which culminated in a General Purpose Machine Gun Live firin as well as watchin Salam Namaste with family at night..Haha.. Kena caught for sleepin on the bed.. so had to book in 3 hours earlier.. Goin to be more cautious this comin week.. Got 2 outfield man.. Life is goin to much tougher yet i will hang in there.. coz toughness is not forever.. Have to rough it out.. Oh well.. Good day...

Simple Sunday..

Oh well.. Just finished one week of regimentation under the new revised and compact 8week MP basic course...All in all.. it has liven up to expectation but there is still a feelin that there is more to come.. we will see what happens in the next few days and weeks to come.. Its already 4th sept..course endin 14th october.. so time is runnin fast.. Haha.. i hope so.. hope to get done with it..

Instructors were sayin that it is a fairly easy course to sail thru coz not so much focus on physical but more on mental.. 70% lectures.. wow!!.. haha.. basically.. the first week went thru alot of mental torture coz its like have to stay awake and show an interest in the lectures.. its ok when the topic is interestin but when the topic smells of boredom.. its like tryin ur very best to stay awake durin a fight betweeen two old ladies.. but still there were moments to remember.. haha

Some jokes to remember esp by my Warrant Z, course commander.. abt detainees who became what they were..for eg.. why did he go to db.. detention barracks.. coz he hammered the officer.. and why did he hammer the officer coz his face looked like a nail!!.. that hit me straight at my heart.. haha. also stories abt the old days of Mp life in the 70s and 80s were related to us.. how there was more fun as there was lot less restriction on the type of physical abuse u can give to the offenders.. there was also a case of how the MP wanted to strip the detainee to see whether he was hidin anythin in his body.. so he was meant to strip naked.. but since he chose to strip rather slowly.. he had to do it over and over again.. such that even his underwear band gave way..haha.. products of the 80s.. imagine wearin an underwear with with a rubber band and cloth that is detached easily.. those were the days of the so called "fun" MP life..

oh well.. went thru alot of lectures and some tests.. abt handcuffs.. quite painful to wear as it leaves a mark of the skin and flesh.. Nizam the great is doin a great job on enforcin the disciple in the country.. he being the Disciplinary Instructor has promised to fuck us badly coz of our poor discpline and inability to handle ourselves and be independent.. he promised to release the devil in him.. i shall wait and see..

oh well. next week goin to learn and fire the GPMG.. learn everythin abt and what it does and its purpose and it will culminate on sunday live firing.. it will be fun as well shiok.haha.. oh yeah.. went thru some Control and restraint exercises this week.. learnt how to break fall with one hand.. damn fuckin painful.. see what happens in the weeks to follow..

Sat was fun playin soccer.. coz i was back to my best.. playin as a free role and dribblin my way thru the crowd and to finish it off.. scorin the last goal.. haha.. i enjoyed it to the max.. power lah.. was entertainin to play and good to see that i still love the game of soccer more.. its like fireworks.. the fun is in creatin and the product is the satisfaction of watchin a good coordinated time period of good stuff.. haha.. oh well.. sat night went the house of sindhis.. had a sort of fun fair type of show for the society to meet up as well collect for money for a good cause.. Could see that sindhis really love to dress up both for the guys and girls as well.. Great scenery... clothes, young crowd and good music..

in the end.. came home to watch eng beat wales by a goal to nil.. rooney was wasted.. thats all i gotta say.. erikkson cant make up his mind.. tremendously disappointed but life goes on..

all in all.. this week has been lively yet borin.. at times.. Soccer on sat great... Next week is coming but i will not waste today.. See what happens.. Always wonder...

Why do pple give in to stress under pressure.. Cant they be calm and act peacefully.. Stress is like a test.. once u know it is comin.. u start preparin for it.. whats wron with u all.. come on man.. Take it with a pinch of salt.. Stare it in the eye and reach high...
